Fusion Canada: "Together in Canada 2010"

Fusion International is committed to building and establishing lasting connections and networks (social capital) that will humanize and transform local communities and build safe, harmonious and inclusive societies, so that all can find their place in a higher local and global purpose.

"Together in Canada 2010" will bring Christians and other community-minded people together to celebrate the 2010 "moment".

Starting in late October, Fusion will be working in selected communities from coast to coast to help Canadians celebrate the arrival of the torch. At each stop the Fusion team will network, build local teams, provide training and deliver at least one "Open Crowd Community Festival" in each community.

 From February 8 to 22, Fusion International is inviting people from the world in Vancouver to be part of the 2010 "moment". Participants will participate in three days of training, to be introduced to the theology, psychology and sociology of "Open Crowd Community Festivals". The schedule includes at least six days of festivals in at least two locations in Greater Vancouver, elsewhere in BC, and possibly into Washington and Oregon.

Our goal is to contribute to a lasting legacy of people in communities across Canada who are committed to see their communities transformed and who have tools to continue far beyond the end of the "moment".
