“Say Hello to All the World” with MTG’s Judi The Manners Lady
There are still a few openings in January and February for your church to host MTG’s “Judi The Manners Lady’s” fun and exciting concert that will train and inspire families and communities with wonderful tips on multicultural hospitality and courtesy as together we welcome the world. In the past year, Judi has trained over 12,000 kids and families at her “Say Hello to All the World” concerts across Canada, where through music and role-playing they learned the “Three Keys of Being an Ambassador for 2010 – respectful attitudes, respectful words and respectful actions. Kids get their own pledge card to sign that they will be Ambassadors for Canada, for school and for [neighboring communites].”
Pastor Rainer Mittelstaedt, Sr. Pastor at Bethel noted after the “Say Hello to All the World” program, “What we learned this morning was the fundamentals of faith—the nuts and bolts of Christianity.” And Saralyn Stel, Children’s Pastor at Alderbrook Church in Abbotsford said, “We were very excited to have Judi come to our church. In a world where respect is hard to find and good manners seem to be uncommon, it was encouraging to see parents bringing their children out to an extra curricular event that was all about good manners and respect! The kids had a ton of fun and learned lots as they acted out the difference between good and bad manners and spent time singing about respect and becoming a good Ambassador for Canada and for God. It's never too young for our kids to be learning about what it means to have integrity and good character, and we're glad Judi has put a program like this together that puts a fun, kid friendly spin on those important life lessons. We are excited about the challenges she has put out to the kids of Abbotsford to be great ambassadors for Canada as we get closer and closer to the 2010 Olympics
B.C. Solicitor General Kash Heed wants Judi’s Manners Club music and curriculum in every school in B.C. and the Mayor of Vancouver proclaimed October as National Manners Month. Our vision is that Vancouver will become the most welcoming and friendliest city to ever host the Olympics as both visitors and residents experience love and community in practical ways. Please join us in praying for this unique opportunity.
