More Than Gold and Home For The Games want to help locals learn the value and life-changing nature of showing radical hospitality.
Part of our vocation as people of faith is to practice hospitality and to offer an open-handed welcome to others. Rather than five-star entertainment that revolves around social status, radical hospitality is an extension of generosity and kindness – and includes the stranger.
The first way that locals can offer radical hospitality is by opening their homes to visitors through the HFG initiative. The second is supporting other hospitality initiatives within the MTG network by donating all or some of their homestay compensation to MTG. A new informational packet has been prepared to help you take part as a local More Than Gold host.
